Support During COVID-19 (2020)
Home -Accomplishments
Many people in Sri Lanka rely on daily wages and had no source of income during the COVID-19 lockdown period. With the support of young graduates (from our graduation financial help scheme), Blossom Trust visited several isolated villages in Sri Lanka and worked with village officers to assess the needs of local families. Each family was provided with essential food supplies, including 5kg of rice, 3kg of wheat flour, 1kg of dhal, 100g of tea, 250g of soya, 2 packets of biscuits, 500g of chana dhal, and 1kg of sugar, all directly procured from government co-operative stores.
